Job summary

Park Vista Care Community in Youngstown, OH is seeking a Part-Time Medication Technician to administer medications to residents, document administration, and monitor for adverse reactions. The role requires a High School diploma with certification as a Medication Technician and may involve ADL assistance and collaborative care with nursing staff.

Experience of 1 year in healthcare is preferred. The position is on-site with a second shift and opportunities for growth within a supportive facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification as a Medication Technician or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications to residents following orders and policies.
• Document medication administration in the EHR and ensure accuracy.
• Monitor residents for adverse reactions and report concerns.
• Safely store, handle, and dispose of medications per regulations.
• Assist with ADLs and resident transfers for safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to coordinate care and communication.
