You will ensure timely dosing, monitor for adverse reactions, maintain accurate medication records in the EHR, assist with ADLs, and collaborate with the nursing team to support resident well-being. The role requires attention to detail, good communication, and reliability; certification required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certification as Medication Technician is required.
• Experience in medication administration is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and patient-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications following physician orders and facility policies.
• Document medication administration in the EHR or required system.
• Monitor residents for adverse reactions and report concerns to supervising staff.
• Safely store, handle, and dispose of medications per protocol and regulations.
• Assist residents with questions about medications and provide calm, compassionate support.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to coordinate care and update care plans.
