Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification as a Medication Technician or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of healthcare or caregiving experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications to residents following physician orders and policies.
• Document medication administration accurately in the EHR or required formats.
• Monitor residents for adverse reactions and report concerns to supervising staff.
• Safely store, handle, and dispose of medications per regulations.
• Assist residents with ADLs and coordinate care with nursing staff.
