Aventura at Humility House in Youngstown, OH is hiring compassionate Medication Technicians to join our Assisted Living team. The role involves safely assisting with medication administration and providing support to residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous Med Tech experience in assisted living or healthcare.
• Medication Tech certification as required by regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as permitted by regulations and policies.
• Accurately document medication administration and resident responses.
• Follow medication schedules and physician orders.
• Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition to the nursing team.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Maintain accurate medication records and follow medication-storage procedures.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and other care team members.
• Follow infection-control and safety procedures.
• Promote resident dignity, privacy, comfort, and independence.
• Perform other duties as assigned by nursing leadership.
