Job summary

Responsibilities include assisting with self-administration of medication, maintaining accurate MARs, documenting changes, preparing resident files, and coordinating with LVN and physicians to ensure proper care and timely communication.

• Experience in an Assisted Living Facility

Responsibilities

• Complies with attendance policy requiring regular, reliable and punctual attendance
• Assists with self-administration of medication for residents as prescribed by the physician
• Observes and reports changes in residents' conditions to LVN/Administrator/Physician
• Creates resident files upon admission and verifies accuracy with physician report and medications
• Stores medications safely and maintains accountability
• Maintains med room operations and monitors supply levels
• Accompanies physicians during visits and records data accurately
• Communicates with doctors about prescriptions and updates MAR/Centrally Stored Medication binder
• Triages family and resident complaints regarding medication concerns
• Completes incident reports within 24 hours and notifies administrator and physicians
