Job summary

Chatsworth Commons Senior Living in Chatsworth, CA, is seeking a dedicated Med Tech to join our compassionate care team. You will administer medications according to physician orders, keep accurate records, and collaborate with the pharmacy and family as needed to ensure resident wellbeing.

The ideal candidate has MedTech experience or certification, 1–2 years in assisted living or skilled nursing, and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• MedTech experience or certification.
• Experience in administering medications.
• Min 1-2 years worked in assisted living or skilled nursing facility.
• BLS/CPR certified/

Responsibilities

• Pass medications according to physician orders and in accordance with facility policy. Administer accurately and timely.
• Record medications administered in the resident’s record.
• Notify pharmacy (or family when applicable) when medications need to be refilled.
• Maintain a clean and organized medication cart and medication room.
• Monitor and report any/all side effects of medications to the Supervisor.
• Follow facility Residents’ Rights policies and procedures at all times.
• Promptly report changes in resident condition to the Supervisor.
