Job summary

Chatsworth Commons Senior Living, located in Chatsworth, CA, is seeking a Med Tech to support medication administration across shifts.

You will pass meds per physician orders, record in resident records, monitor for side effects, and maintain a clean cart and room. Experience in assisted living or SNF preferred; CPR/BLS certification preferred.

Qualifications

• MedTech certification or equivalent experience.
• Experience in administering medications.
• Minimum 1–2 years worked in assisted living or skilled nursing facility.

Responsibilities

• Pass medications according to physician orders and facility policy.
• Record medications administered in the resident's record.
• Notify pharmacy (or family when applicable) when medications need to be refilled.
• Maintain a clean and organized medication cart and medication room.
• Monitor and report any/all side effects of medications to the Supervisor.
• Follow facility Residents' Rights policies and procedures at all times.
• Promptly report changes in resident condition to the Supervisor.

• Record medications administered in the resident's record.

• Notify pharmacy (or family when applicable) when medications need to be refilled.

• Maintain a clean and organized medication cart and medication room.

• Follow facility Residents' Rights policies and procedures at all times.
