Job summary

Chatsworth Commons Senior Living is seeking a Med Tech to join our caring team in Chatsworth, CA. Pass and document medications per physician orders, maintain a clean medication area, and promptly report changes in resident conditions to the supervisor.

Applicants should have MedTech certification or relevant experience, and a current BLS/CPR certification. A low- to mid-range schedule with opportunities for growth and a supportive management team are offered.

Qualifications

• MedTech experience or certification.
• Experience in administering medications.
• Min 1-2 years worked in assisted living or skilled nursing facility.
• BLS/CPR certified.

Responsibilities

• Pass medications according to physician orders and in accordance with facility policy. Administer accurately and timely.
• Record medications administered in the resident’s record.
• Notify pharmacy (or family when applicable) when medications need to be refilled.
• Maintain a clean and organized medication cart and medication room.
• Monitor and report any/all side effects of medications to the Supervisor.
• Follow facility Residents’ Rights policies and procedures at all times.
• Promptly report changes in resident condition to the Supervisor.
