Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Medication Aide/Med Tech to ensure residents receive medications and treatments safely, accurately, and with dignity. You will administer meds per orders, follow the Six Rights, document in MAR/TAR in real time, and monitor residents during and after passes.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time
• Observe residents during and after medication passes
• Monitor symptoms and administer meds as ordered for relief
• Report refusals or concerns promptly
• Complete narcotic counts per policy
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms
• Follow infection control and safety standards
