Job summary

Modena Reserve Bethesda is seeking a Medication Technician (Med Tech/RMA) for a PRN role, every other weekend 7am-3pm. You will administer medications and treatments, monitor vital signs, and support residents' health needs in accordance with physician orders and state regulations.

Collaborating closely with nursing leadership, home health, hospice, and emergency services, you may provide supervision when management is absent.

Qualifications

• State-required RMA/Med Tech training and certification, where applicable.
• Dependable with strong attendance and punctuality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions and remain calm in stressful situations.
• Genuine compassion for older adults and concern for their physical and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and state regulations.
• Measure and document vital signs and weight.
• Maintain accurate medication administration records.
• Follow medication room systems and safety procedures per policy.
• Coordinate with physicians, home health, hospice, and emergency protocols as needed.
• Supervise resident care team members to ensure completion of assigned duties when acting as shift lead.
