Job summary

Modena Reserve Bethesda is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to administer medications and treatments, monitor vital signs, and support resident health needs in line with physician orders and state rules. This PRN role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and compassionate care for seniors.

The position collaborates with nursing leadership, home health, hospice, and emergency services, with potential supervisory duties when management is not present.

Qualifications

• State-required Medication Technician (RMA/Med Tech) training and certification, where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments in compliance with physician orders and state regulations.
• Measure and document vital signs and weight.

• Follow medication room systems and safety procedures per policy.
• Coordinate with physicians, home health, hospice, and emergency protocols as needed.
• Supervise resident care team members to ensure completion of assigned duties when acting as shift lead.
