Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Asheville is hiring a Med Tech to provide quality care and assist with daily living activities, including prescribed medications within scope. The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and teamwork to support residents.

The position requires a CNA and Med Tech license in good standing, a High School Diploma or GED, and CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Flexibility with scheduling is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must possess both CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or within 60 days of hire.
• Able to pass medication observations and cart audits.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration of prescribed medications within scope.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Document medication administration on EMAR/MAR and Daily Log.
• Report care concerns to RN/LPN or ED as appropriate.
• Maintain confidentiality and communicate resident status clearly.
• Perform medication cart audits and participate in trainings.
• Support safe resident transfers and responsive to emergencies.
