Job summary

Patriots Landing is seeking Med Techs/CNAs for its assisted living facility in Washington. The role requires a CNA license and medication administration experience. Day shift from 6am-2pm, Friday-Monday, with pay range $23.00–$28.50 per hour DOE. Medication administration experience is required.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed CNA with medication administration experience.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Be dependable and capable of mature judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide setup and delivery of resident medication.
• Follow state regulatory training requirements.
• Stand by while residents receive medications; never leave until taken.
• Document given medications, refusals, PRNs, and holds per regulations.
• Order medications as needed to prevent stockouts.
• Communicate changes of condition to supervisor, physicians, and families.
• Count and account for narcotics before leaving shift.
• Report discrepancies immediately to supervisor.
• Assist in emergencies; take resident vitals and call 911 when needed.
• Complete incident reports and fax to primary physician; file in chart.
• Assist caregiving duties and keep med room tidy.
