Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician (Med Tech/CMA) to support residents in our Arizona communities. You will assist with medication administration, daily living activities, and collaborate with a caring team to ensure residents’ safety, comfort, and well-being.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, attention to detail, and teamwork, while participating in weekend rotations to meet residents’ needs and maintain quality care across shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid state medication administration license (such as CNA/CMA/CMT/QMAP/Certified Caregiver) or meet state requirements for medication administration in assisted living.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily administration of prescribed medication as per care plan.
• Follow documentation protocols and report changes in resident status.
• Assist in managing medication inventory and coordinate re-orders with pharmacies.
• Provide compassionate care and support with activities of daily living.
• Prioritize independence and provide emotional support with engagement and companionship.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activity programs.
• Promote open communication between healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
