Job summary

Rochester Manor is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to administer medications and medicated creams under the supervision of a licensed nurse, following state regulations and certification standards.

The role requires completion of state-approved CNA and medication aide training, with at least one year of CNA experience, and strong English communication abilities. Full-time evening shift with benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Requires state-approved medication aide training.
• Requires state-approved CNA training.
• Must be a CNA with one year of experience.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer routine and PRN medications to patients as prescribed by the physician and document administration per policy.
• Maintain medication supply, clean and restock medicine carts and medicine room.
• Notify pharmacy of new medication orders and refills.
• Perform accurate vital sign monitoring when indicated by drug therapy
