Job summary

Monarch Communities in New Jersey is seeking a part-time Med Tech to support residents with medication administration and related care under supervision. The role is 5pm–9pm, hourly pay $22.00–$23.00, with duties including maintaining medical records and compliance with regulations.

The position requires a Medication Technician training completion, state regulatory knowledge, and strong communication. Weekend/holiday availability is expected, with benefits for part-time staff.

Qualifications

• Medication Technician training and competency testing completed.
• Ability to administer medications per state regulations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• HIPAA knowledge and privacy compliance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of experience with seniors in care settings.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Administer and/or assist with medication administration and maintain medical records under supervision.
• Complete required annual medication training.
• Provide resident care per the care plan.
• Maintain accurate and compliant medical records.
• Uphold residents' comfort, privacy, and dignity.
