Job summary

Monarch Communities in New Jersey is seeking a Med Tech to provide medication administration support to residents, reporting to the Director of Health & Wellness. This is a non-exempt, hourly position covering weekends.

Shifts available are 7am–11am and 5pm–9pm, with hourly rate $24.00–$25.00. You will administer medications, maintain medical records, and collaborate with RNs/LPNs to ensure quality resident care while upholding privacy and dignity.

Qualifications

• Must have completed Medication Technician training and periodic competency testing.
• Ability to perform medication administration in accordance with State Regs.
• Strong communication skills and HIPAA awareness.
• Observes and reports changes in residents' condition to Supervisor.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and assist with resident care as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer and/or assist with self-administration of prescribed medication and maintain related medical records.
• Complete required annual medication training.
• Provide resident care to ensure care needs are met according to the care plan.
• Maintain medical records and documentation in compliance with laws and standards.
• Maintain residents' comfort, privacy, and dignity during service delivery.
