Job summary

Monarch Communities is seeking a part-time Medication Technician to provide medication administration and resident care per each resident's care plan and physician orders. This role supports residents in a timely, accurate manner and requires attention to safety and HIPAA compliance. The position is 7:11 a.m.

and 3:00–8:00 p.m. shifts, with weekend and holiday availability. Completion of MT training and state-registered competency is required, along with a High School diploma and prior

Qualifications

• Completion of Medication Technician training and competency testing.
• Ability to administer medications per State Regulations.
• Strong communication with residents, families, and staff.
• Knowledge of HIPAA policies and privacy requirements.
• Experience caring for seniors in healthcare settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer or assist with prescribed medications as per care plan.
• Maintain accurate medication records and documentation.
• Provide resident care to meet care plans and ensure comfort and safety.
• Participate in required annual medication training and safety programs.
