Job summary

AdviniaCare in Florida is hiring a Med Tech to assist residents with daily tasks and medication management. The role emphasizes compassion, reliability and a positive attitude in a senior care setting.

Prior experience with seniors is preferred but not required, with in-person interviews for immediate consideration. The position includes responsibilities in grooming, incontinence care, meal support, light cleaning and safety compliance to ensure a comfortable home for residents and peace of mind

Qualifications

• Current Med Tech certificate required
• BLS/CPR certificate
• TB or chest xray
• Previous experience working with seniors
• Experience with Alzheimer’s or dementia care
• High school diploma or equivalency required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Previous Med Passer experience required
• Must pass Level 2 background screening

Responsibilities

• Assist residents who have difficulties completing basic tasks day and night
• Medication management, grooming, incontinence care
• Food preparation and feeding
• Bathing, laundry and light housekeeping
• Follow safety policies to maintain a safe home environment
• Encourage an atmosphere of optimism, warmth and sincere concern

Their responsibilities include medication management, grooming, incontinence care, food preparation, feeding, bathing, laundry, light housekeeping. Furthermore, following safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe and comfortable home environment for our residents.
