Job summary

The Pearl at East Cobb, part of Phoenix Senior Living, is seeking Med Techs to join its team. The role focuses on medication care and resident support, with leadership in day-to-day care and wellness activities.

Positions include Full-Time and Part-Time shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd, with weekends and evenings). The Med Tech will monitor health, document care, and collaborate with the Wellness Director to ensure high-quality Resident Care in a dementia-informed environment.

Qualifications

• Must be certified Medication Aide and/or meet state requirements.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with elders or disabled individuals.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Knowledge of Assisted Living and Dementia care preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Identifies ongoing needs and services of residents through the assessment / PSP process.
• Ensures proper follow through and documentation for residents with a change in clinical care needs.
• Supports the Wellness Nurse with completing the clinical sections of monthly wellness visits and PSP to reflect the resident monthly.
• Informs the Wellness Director and/or Executive Director of changes in medication or service level that may affect tier level or move-out.
• Assist with obtaining weights and vital signs monthly for each resident prior to monthly wellness visit.
• Assist with resident care as needed.
