Job summary
Parkland Village is actively seeking a Med Tech (Med Aide) to support residents with medication administration and daily care under the Cascade Living Group. You will collaborate with the clinical team to implement treatment plans and ensure quality of life for residents, including those with dementia.
The role requires compassionate, reliable individuals who communicate effectively with residents, families and physicians, and who can work evenings and weekends on a full-time schedule at Cascade
Qualifications
- Must demonstrate nursing practices relevant to resident care
- Experience with elderly/dementia care preferred
- Reliable transportation and punctuality essential
- Compassionate individuals with flexibility in duties
- Ability to stay focused despite interruptions throughout the day
- Effective communicator with residents, families and staff
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends
Responsibilities
- Contribute information for development and implementation of customized service plans
- Administer treatment plans and chart medications in MAR
- Document PRN outcomes and missed medications
- Respond to calls/concerns from family members and physicians as directed
- Contribute to high quality of life and consistent resident care
- Collaborate with clinical team to address resident needs
- Promote Cascade Living's mission, values and beliefs
