Job summary

StoryPoint West Bloomfield is seeking caregivers to provide comfort, safety, and supervision for residents on 2nd and 3rd shift. You will assist with daily living activities, medications, and individualized care plans while learning residents' preferences and personalities.

Responsibilities include bathing, dining help, mobility assistance, charting, and teamwork with Wellness Leadership. Training and ongoing support are provided to deliver high-quality resident care in a supportive community

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification required or obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to multi task and work with minimal supervision.
• Effective oral and written communication with residents and staff.
• Comfort with assisting activities of daily living.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications per physician orders and document on eMAR.
• Provide compassionate care including bathing, dressing, dining assistance.
• Assist with mobility and transfers; wheelchair escorts.
• Monitor resident weights and vitals; report changes to Wellness Leadership Team.
• Maintain clean resident rooms and common areas; disinfect spills as needed.
• Support activity participation and Life Enrichment activities.
• Complete daily charting and respond to resident call signals promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality and work as part of the care team.

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for providing comfort safety and general supervision to residents by assisting them with activities of daily living administering medications and tending to their individual care needs while learning their unique preferences and personalities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
