Job summary

The Homestead at Rochester, a community operated by Volunteers of America, is hiring a Med Tech in Rochester, MN. This paid role supports residents with daily living activities, delivering compassionate, person-centered care and reporting changes to the nursing team.

Strong communication and MN licensure are required, with preference for long-term care experience. We offer a supportive team environment, career growth opportunities, and comprehensive benefits.

• Current Med Certified licensure in MN.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and resident orders.
• Long-term care experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, hands-on care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Support residents’ physical and emotional well-being by building meaningful connections and delivering compassionate, person-centered care.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition to the nursing team to ensure timely and appropriate care.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment while following all care plans, safety protocols, and infection control standards.

Pay Range: $19.00-$21.10 years of experience and differential
Schedule: .6 AM shift 6:30am-2:30pm
.7 PM shift 2:30-10:30pm
