Qualifications

• Active California RN license with BLS and ACLS.
• Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience in Med/Surg, Telemetry, or Critical Care.
• Knowledge of EMR systems and crisis prevention training preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish is advantageous.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process for assessment, planning, and care.
• Perform focused assessments and adjust care plans.
• Provide age-appropriate care using current research.
• Maintain therapeutic relationships and hourly rounding.
• Communicate using SBAR and document care.
• Coordinate discharge planning and review orders.
• Evaluate outcomes and utilize patient classification systems.
• Supervise ancillary staff and participate in orientation.
• Ensure a safe, clean environment adhering to standards.
• Assist with equipment setup and patient hygiene.
