Job summary

AdventHealth in Rome, GA is seeking an RN with experience in venous access and infusion therapy to join a full-time day shift team. You will perform access procedures, administer therapies, monitor patients, and educate them about care plans.

The role emphasizes leadership, quality improvement, and staff mentorship within an acute-care setting. RN licensure and a nursing degree are required, with the option to advance through the Clinical Ladder program.

Qualifications

• RN with active license is required.
• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• 1+ charge nurse or leadership experience preferred.
• 1+ nursing experience in acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venous access procedures within RN scope and ensure patient safety.
• Administer and monitor infusion therapy; adjust care plans as needed.
• Assess patient conditions to select venous access methods and address complications.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for venous access patients.
• Provide patient education on venous access and infusion therapy.
• Mentor and precept new staff; support professional development.
