Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking an experienced RN for the Med Surg Tele Float Pool Nights in the Northern Region. The role requires a strong foundation in Med Surg, patient‑centered care, and the ability to float across units to meet staffing needs.

Required ASN; BSN or higher degree within 3 years of hire is strongly preferred. BLS, ACLS, and stroke course are required. Work in a nationally recognized health system offering comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• ASN from an accredited nursing program (required).
• BSN or completion of BSN or higher degree within 3 years of hire strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses nursing process to develop care plans respecting patient and family preferences.
• Interacts with patients, families and staff to ensure safe, high‑quality care.
• Integrates evidence-based practice and clinical expertise in patient care decisions.
• Communicates clearly to patients and team, ensuring education and informed consent.
• Float to all Med/Surg units within the Central region to support staffing needs.
• Participates in safety and quality initiatives and committee work.
