Responsibilities

• Performs unit-specific nursing duties and maintains accurate documentation.
• Completes initial patient assessment and develops a care plan.
• Implements plan of care and nursing interventions; modifies as needed.
• Delegates tasks to HCAs and validates completion of delegated tasks.
• Ensures patient safety, conducts vital sign interpretation, and administers medications per the 5 Rights.
• Communicates effectively with the care team to ensure coordinated patient care.
