Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Rogers 8 med-surg unit. The role focuses on complex medical-surgical care, mobility, and patient autonomy, with a strong team connection and a significant sign-on bonus.

The RN will perform initial assessments, develop and implement care plans, and ensure accurate documentation while maintaining patient safety and effective triage. A supportive, sunlit environment is emphasized on the unit.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days
• College Diploma in Nursing
• Work Experience: RN > 1 year

Responsibilities

• Performs all responsibilities and duties specific to med-surg unit.
• Implements nursing care plans and documents care provided.
• Completes baseline assessments and develops plans of care.
• Delivers medications safely using the 5 rights and adheres to safety protocols.
• Communicates with the team for coordinated patient care.
