Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an experienced RN for the Rogers 8 med-surg unit. You will perform comprehensive nursing assessments, develop and adjust care plans, and document care for a busy medical-surgical floor. The role emphasizes patient mobility, autonomy, and teamwork within a supportive staff.

The position requires an IL RN license, BLS, and at least 1 year of RN experience. Sign-on bonus is available, with a 3-year commitment.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with IL IDFPR.
• BLS certification within 30 days per AHA.
• Education: College Diploma in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Perform all unit-specific nursing duties and document care.
• Complete initial patient assessment and develop care plans.
• Maintain safety: fall precautions, infection control, patient ambulation.
• Administer medications following the 5 Rights: patient, medication, route, dose, time.
• Communicate with the healthcare team to coordinate care.
