Job summary

St. Anthony North Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to facilitate, communicate, and collaborate with the healthcare team and patient/family to meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, advancing compassionate care.

The RN will promote safety and well-being through the nursing process, uphold standards and the Nurse Practice Act, and demonstrate accountability in relationship-based care within a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma; licensure as RN.
• RN License in state of employment.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (AHA).
• NIHSS within 6 months of hire or internal transfer.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs; evaluate and intervene for optimal outcomes.
• Develop and implement patient care plans with interdisciplinary team; observe outcomes.
• Demonstrate competency in IVs, wound care, medications, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Maintain confidential patient charts; document status and outcomes; use IT to support decision-making.
• Promote health, safety, rights of patients; provide patient/family education and assess learning needs.
