Job summary

Medical City Weatherford is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to lead patient-centered care on the unit during the assigned shift. The CNC collaborates with the management team to direct, monitor and evaluate nursing care, serve as a resource, and support the organization’s mission and outcomes.

You will assist with admissions/discharges, staff training, scheduling and inventory control, and work to uphold a patient-first philosophy while pursuing quality improvements and staff

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required within 30 days of start date.
• RN licensure is required.
• Associate or Bachelor degree in nursing or equivalent.
• No travel required for this role.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate admissions and discharges for efficient throughput and quality care.
• Monitor and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with management.
• Foster teamwork and support improved patient outcomes and service.
• Promote a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when needed.
• Support nursing strategies like hourly rounds and staff engagement initiatives.
• Assist with interviewing, selection, and staff development.
• Coordinate staff scheduling and labor to meet patient care needs.
• Oversee inventory control and supply management.
