Job summary

AdventHealth Denver seeks an experienced RN to provide comprehensive nursing care, document patient data, and implement evidence-based plans. You will collaborate with the care team to ensure safe admissions, transfers, and discharges while educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Must be able to use a high level of abstract reasoning to assess patient, evaluate interventions, and revise plan of care according to patient outcomes.
• Basic computer skills – must be able to navigate Microsoft windows based programs.
• Must be fluent in English (read, verbal and written skills).
• 2 years of nursing experience in an acute hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates critical thinking skills appropriate to patient’s level of care and documents data systematically.
• Collects and documents patient health data and conducts ongoing assessments.
• Develops individualized, evidence-based plans of care and implements interventions.
• Collaborates for timely patient placement and contributes to quality and safety initiatives.
• Educates patients and families on health conditions and care plans.
