Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years of nursing experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Associate's of Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
• RN license and CPR required; ACLS/PALS preferred.
• Fluent English in reading, writing and speaking.
• Basic computer skills; navigate Windows.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates critical thinking and collects patient health data.
• Performs ongoing patient assessments and documents plans of care.
• Implements interventions safely and records actions.
• Facilitates patient placement with timely admissions and transfers.
• Participates in peer interviewing and review processes.
• Administers medications and treatments per protocols.
• Communicates with patients, families, physicians, and staff.
• Educates patients on health conditions and care plans.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and policies.
• Contributes to quality and safety initiatives in nursing.
• Advocates for patients and ensures safe use of supplies.
• Performs safe handoffs and documentation; follows PPE rules.
