Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions seeks a Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical to provide comprehensive nursing care to adult inpatients. You will perform admissions assessments, administer medications and IV therapies, and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team.

You will also provide pre- and post-operative care, monitor patient progress, educate patients and families, and participate in discharge planning, ensuring high-quality outcomes in a Nebraska acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing: Required
• Medical surgical or acute care nursing experience: Preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform admission, shift and ongoing assessments for assigned patients.
• Administer medications, IV therapy and treatments per physician orders.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, including wound care and drain management.
• Monitor for changes in condition and elevate to the provider promptly.
• Delegate to and supervise nursing assistants and support staff.
• Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning.
