Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an experienced RN for Med Surg to provide comprehensive care for adult patients with medical and surgical conditions. You will assess patients, administer treatments, monitor status, and coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license and a nursing degree, with 1–2 years of med-surg or acute care experience; ACLS is preferred or required based on facility requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• 1-2 years of medical-surgical or acute care nursing experience preferred.
• Experience caring for post-surgical and medically complex patients is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and evaluate patients' conditions and identify changes requiring intervention.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, treatments, and other prescribed interventions safely.
• Provide wound care, post-operative care, and assistance with activities of daily living as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatment plans, recovery, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow infection control, patient safety, and quality standards.
