MercyOne Northeast Iowa is seeking a registered nurse for our Oelwein Medical Center acute care unit. This full-time night shift covers 12-hour shifts from 6:00 pm to 6:30 am with a 0.9 FTE (36 hours per week) and every third weekend.

The unit emphasizes close patient contact, family involvement, and high-quality, person-centered care. Responsibilities include assessing and planning care, coordinating with LPNs and PCAs, and communicating with physicians and families.

Qualifications

• Current IA RN license.
• BSN preferred.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care of patients.
• Supervises and coordinates care provided by LPNs and PCAs.
• Facilitates communication with physicians, families and other team members.
