Starr Regional Medical Center in Athens, TN is seeking a Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time night shifts (7:00 pm - 7:00 am) with rotating weekends. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified applicants. The role requires at least one year of direct Medical‑Surgical nursing experience and TN RN licensure.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
• Establishes a plan of care in collaboration with the patient.
• Supervises and mentors nursing staff during shift.
• Assists in determining staffing levels and assignments based on patient needs and staff availability.
• Provides direct patient care as needed.
• Floats between staff to assist with problem-solving.
• Takes patient assignments to meet staffing needs.
• Evaluates effectiveness of patient care and addresses issues.
• Performs role-specific duties including admissions/discharges and transfers.
• Ensures staff has equipment and supplies for safe, quality care.
