Job summary

Physicians Regional Medical Center- Collier campus is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Med Surg on day shifts. New graduates are encouraged to apply and may receive a student loan contribution of up to $20,000 affording healthcare professionals with financial assistance while starting their nursing career.

The RN provides patient-centered care using the nursing process, collaborates with the care team, administers medications, and participates in life-saving measures as needed.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in an acute care setting required.
• RN licensure in the state; BCLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the nursing process and clinical practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care per nursing process.
• Assess patients and document findings; report changes to care team.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within scope of competency.
• Educate patients and families about care and discharge plans.
• Ensure infection control and patient safety.
