Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health in Brick Township, NJ is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our patient-centered care team. The RN provides direct care in coordination with physicians and other clinicians, performs assessments, plans, implements and evaluates care, and ensures safe medication administration using advanced bar-scanning technology.

Requirements include a valid New Jersey nursing license, BLS/CPR, and BSN in progress or willingness to pursue within three years.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license is required.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association is required.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire.
• Must have six (6) or more months of nursing experience OR must be an active participant with Hackensack Meridian Health’s Nurse Residency Program.
• One (1) or more years of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assessment, Planning, Implementation and Evaluation of patient care.
• Collects comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health.
• Communicates and coordinates the plan of care with the health care team.
• Performs age and disease specific assessments and documentation.
• Safely administers medications and participates in patient discharge planning.
