Job summary

Talented-Medical-Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical to provide comprehensive nursing care for adult medical and surgical inpatients. The role includes medication administration, patient monitoring, and coordination with the interdisciplinary team.

You will supervise support staff, delegate tasks, and educate patients and families throughout the hospital stay, ensuring safe and effective care from admission to discharge.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN licensure in the state of practice is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform admission, shift and ongoing assessments for medical/surgical patients.
• Administer medications, IV therapy and treatments per physician orders.
• Provide pre-op and post-op wound and drain care.
• Monitor patient status and escalate changes promptly to the provider.
• Delegate to and supervise nursing assistants and support staff.
• Educate patients and families and participate in discharge planning.
