Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking a Registered Nurse for the MercyOne Med/Surg unit in Iowa. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, coordinating with physicians and care teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualified candidates will have a BSN, Iowa RN license, and current BLS/ACLS; prior hospital experience preferred. This is a full-time position with rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.

Qualifications

• Must apply the nursing process and adhere to established nursing standards.
• Reading, writing and spoken English required.
• Ability to operate computer systems and document care.

Responsibilities

• Administers and coordinates patient care from admission to discharge.
• Educates patients and families about care plans and health problems.
• Supervises PCTs and Support Assistants.
• Utilizes nursing documentation systems and equipment safely.
• Works rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
