KARIER is seeking a Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for our inpatient Med/Surg unit in Montana. This full-time, on-site role offers multiple shifts and a supportive environment with strong nurse-to-patient ratios and collaborative care.

Responsibilities include delivering comprehensive patient care, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining accurate documentation. Current Montana RN licensure and BLS/ACLS/PALS are required, with a BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program. ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Active, unrestricted Montana RN licensure or immediate compact/endorsement eligibility.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS active or completed within 6 months of hire.
• No minimum experience required; med/surg or pediatric experience preferred; new grads encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, evaluation).
• Provide comprehensive care for pediatric and adult patients with acute medical conditions or undergoing surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Communicate with patients and families, providing education and support while maintaining professional standards.
• Act as clinical leader on the floor, guiding LPNs, CNAs, and support staff.
• Maintain thorough electronic health records reflecting patient status and discharge planning.
