American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Med/Surg Acute unit in California. CA RN licensure and Epic EMR experience are required; a day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM is planned.

This 13-week contract emphasizes coordinated nursing care, patient education, and discharge planning in a busy hospital setting. Active CA RN license, BLS/ACLS, and a minimum of two years in Med/Surg are required; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Minimum of two years Med/Surg experience.
• Acute care facility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on the Med/Surg Acute unit.
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
• 13-week contract assignment.
• Deliver coordinated nursing care per standards and nursing process.
• Supervise nursing staff and coordinate care across disciplines.
• Communicate with patients and families to ensure safe, humane care.
• Assist in discharge planning and care continuity.
