Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions seeks an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in California. The ideal candidate will provide fast-paced, patient-centered emergency care and document accurately in the Epic EMR system.

The RN will triage, treat, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a busy ED. Requirements include an active RN license in the applicable state, 2+ years ER experience, required Epic EMR use, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certification.

Qualifications

Active RN license in the applicable state or compact state.
Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience.
Epic EMR experience required.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
TNCC preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform rapid patient assessments and triage according to ED protocols.
Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care for medical, surgical, traumatic, and behavioral health emergencies.
Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products per physician orders.
Monitor and reassess patient conditions with changes in status.
Assist with trauma resuscitations, cardiac emergencies, stroke alerts, and codes.
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharges.
