Openwork Health is seeking a Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (RN – Med Surg) to join a dedicated team in Glendale, CA. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, evidence-based nursing care in a fast-paced medical-surgical unit.

The RN will collaborate with professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes, meet facility standards, and participate in ongoing professional development. Candidates should be committed to patient-centered care and maintain licensure and credentials as required.

Formación

• Current RN license is required.
• Minimum of one year of medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Proficiency in patient assessment, clinical decision-making and care planning.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications as required by the facility.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication, organizational and critical thinking skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for a variety of medical and surgical conditions.
• Monitor patient progress, administer medications, and perform treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Document patient status, interventions and outcomes accurately and promptly.
• Educate patients and families regarding disease processes, postoperative care and health maintenance.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic, patient-centered care.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and uphold best nursing practices.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Support patient safety, dignity and confidentiality at all times.
