Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Med-Surg at Anderson Hospital in Cincinnati. The role delivers comprehensive nursing care, collaborates with an interdisciplinary team, and develops patient care plans to improve outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have an RN license, at least 1 year of RN experience, and the ability to manage a fast-paced inpatient unit. A BSN is preferred; ACLS/BLS certification may be required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of RN experience in an acute care setting is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred but not mandatory.
• Current RN licensure in the state of practice is required.
• ACLS may be substituted for BLS; BLS preferred upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to plan and deliver care.
• Collect vital signs, administer IV medications, and assess patient status.
• Evaluate and revise the plan of care to achieve expected outcomes.
• Administer medications safely in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
