Job summary

St Mary’s Health Care System in Athens, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 4th Floor Med/Surg unit. This full-time position covers day shift with Saturday and Sunday 7a–7p, and pays for 36 hours while scheduling actual hours accordingly, plus day-one benefits.

The RN will work in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team to provide evidence-based care. Georgia licensure and graduation from an accredited nursing program are required, with a refresher course if not active in 5 years and prior

Qualifications

• Current Georgia RN license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing.
• Refresher course required if nursing practice has not occurred within past 5 years.
• Prior experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop, evaluate, and modify the care plan.
• Perform complex patient-care procedures within scope.
• Collaborate with Care Team and Support Team to achieve pathway goals.
• Deliver care using nursing process, environment, and technology.
