St. Mary’s Health Care System in Athens, GA seeks a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The ED is a 25-bed unit serving patients from infants to geriatrics with cardiology and stroke focus.

Qualifications

• A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing education program approved by the Board of Nursing or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a refresher course within the past 6 months if nursing practice has not occurred within the past 5 years.
• Prior experience in preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, develop, evaluate, and modify the care plan.
• Interprets and performs complex patient-care procedures specific to their expertise.
• Members of Care Team and Support Team collaborating to achieve patient outcomes.
• Provide care to patients using nursing process, environment/technology, and team members.
