Job summary

Betsy Johnson Hospital in Dunn, NC is seeking a Resource Nurse for the Med/Surg floor to support physicians, coordinate care, and serve as a resource to staff during 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred), is licensed as an RN in North Carolina, and has 3 years of related clinical experience; EPIC experience is a plus, with strong organizational and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure in North Carolina required.
• 3 years of related clinical experience required.
• EPIC EMR experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality patient care on Med/Surg with staffing coordination.
• Rounds with physicians and serves as point of contact for staff and administrators.
• Assists with procedures and checks orders.
• Maintains daily QC and equipment checks on unit.
• Supports discharge planning and care coordination.
• Interfaces with Care Coordinator and nursing supervisors.
