Job summary

CareWell Health Medical Center in New Jersey seeks a registered nurse to provide safe patient care using the nursing process, perform comprehensive assessments and address discharge needs. You will coordinate with the care team, educate patients and families, document clearly, and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities include medication administration with the five rights, accurate charting, shift reports, and interdepartmental coordination to ensure timely patient care and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license to practice in NJ.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe nursing care using the nursing process.
• Perform thorough patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative aspects.
• Identify problems and discharge needs.
• Plan and coordinate care; manage time and priorities.
• Evaluate care effectiveness and revise plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families; document outcomes.
• Communicate with physicians, co-workers and patients.
• Report pertinent observations to the care team.
• Give shift reports; ensure patient safety and accuracy in records.
• Coordinate transfers and interdepartmental activities.
• Administer medications with the correct rights and identifiers.
